Meet our Director

Hello! My name is Sheena Peters, and I am the proud Director of Little Miss & Mister. With a Masters degree in Education from BGSU, caring for children has always been more than a career for me—it’s my passion and my purpose.

My vision for Little Miss & Mister is to create a place where every child feels safe, loved, valued, and inspired to learn. I believe the early years are some of the most important in a child’s life, and I am committed to providing an environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, creativity, and kindness through hands-on learning and meaningful play.

As a director, I believe in leading with compassion, respect, and integrity. I strive to support not only the children in our care but also our families and staff, creating a welcoming community where everyone feels heard, appreciated, and supported. Building trusting relationships with families is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do because I believe we are partners in helping children reach their fullest potential.

Outside of the daycare, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and exploring my creative side. These passions remind me of the importance of mindfulness, lifelong learning, and finding joy in the little moments—values I hope to share with the children and families at Little Miss & Mister.
